+ Project Stories

This project is situated in a well-established neighborhood with convenient access to various landmarks in Johor Bahru. Drawing inspiration from the Japanese concept of Ikigai, which embodies balance, harvest, and prosperity, the project seeks to enhance the richness of scenery, living spaces, and community interactions. The aim is to create a solid foundation for designing homes where residents can find contentment.

The building facades and facilities are designed to embody Japanese design principles in line with this concept. The design focuses on three main aspects: 景 (KEI), 系 (TSUNAGU), and 住 (SUMI).KEI emphasizes experiencing the changing weather and creating a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. TSUNAGU fosters strong connections among residents through thoughtfully provided communal facilities. Finally, SUMI aims to create a well-designed living environment that enhances the overall lifestyle of its inhabitants.

In consideration of the aspirations of Asian homeowners—such as motivation to work, well-being, personal rejuvenation, and play—the design seamlessly incorporates these elements into everyday living.
